If you want to change the look and feel of your website in HubSpot—like fonts, colors, or button styles—but you’re not a developer, don’t worry. HubSpot makes it super easy to make design changes across your whole site without writing a single line of code. The secret? Theme Settings.
In this post, we’ll show you step-by-step how to access and use Theme Settings directly from the HubSpot page editor.
Theme settings are a simple way to customize the overall design of your website. You can change things like:
Brand colors
Fonts and text styles
Button shapes and colors
Spacing and layout
And the best part? When you change them, the updates apply automatically to all pages using that theme. No need to go page by page.
Go to your HubSpot dashboard.
Navigate to Marketing > Website > Website Pages (or Landing Pages).
Click Edit on any page that uses your theme.
Once the page editor opens, look at the top menu bar.
Click the “Edit” tab.
Under the Edit tab, select “Theme: Your Theme” (You will see the name of the theme you're using).
This will open the Theme Settings panel on the left side.
Inside the theme settings panel, you’ll see categories like:
Colors – Change your primary and secondary brand colors.
Fonts – Pick fonts for headings and body text.
Buttons – Adjust the style, color, and shape of buttons.
Other Options – Each developer chooses what can be configured for their theme.
When you make a change, you’ll immediately see a preview on the page.
Once you’re happy with the look:
Click Publish.
HubSpot will ask if you want to apply this to all pages using the theme. You can choose “Yes” to keep your site consistent.
Using Theme Settings helps you:
Theme settings are one of the most powerful tools in HubSpot—and they’re built for non-developers like you. Whether you want to change your brand color, adjust font sizes, or give your buttons a new shape, you can do it all from the page editor with just a few clicks.
So next time you need a visual update, don’t go page by page. Head to the Theme Settings, and let HubSpot do the work for you.
